Get excited people!

I don't know about you guys but I am insanely excited for the 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art to come to GOMA later this year!

The show will consist of work by contemporary artists from Asia, the Pacific and Australia and includes paintings, instillations, sculptures and photographs. The theme of the Asia Pacific Triennial this year will be "our relation to place at a time of rapid urbanisation and flux of people, trade and influence."

A work definitely worth looking out for is the architectural structures created by artists from the East Sepik province of Papua New Guinea. Further, Michael Parekowhai's sculpture, 'The World Turns' is a key artwork in the exhibition.

The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art will be on at GOMA from the 8th of December, 2012 to the 14th of April, 2013. As an art enthusiast who has been going to see the show since it first came to Brisbane five years ago, I can say with absolute confidence that it will be an exhibition which will not disappoint!
