MasquerAid

On Friday 5th of October, 2012, a group of my friends and I attended a Masquerade Ball. The Ball was organised by the South Bank Institute of Technology and was held to raise money for the Fred Hollows Foundation. This foundation was founded in 1992 by Fred Hollows and is an Australian non-profit organisation. The foundation focuses on treating and protecting blindness and other problems. In particular, the Fred Hollows organisation has provided much relief for Indigenous Australians living in rural Australia who are plagued by vision problems.

In all, it was a lovely night and a great way to socialise with friends while giving to such a worthy cause.
